We have 25000 Koreans in Kingston Borough and following the recent visit from Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol to promote our recent £21b trade deal as well as the visit from King Charles to meet the Korean community in New Malden, it was a pleasure to be invited to the British Korean Society annual dinner at the House of Lords hosted by the Ambassador of the Embassy of Korea and Permanent Mission to IMO and to meet the Minister and First Secretary and the Executive Team of the BKS, with my host Marcel Lee who is the new Founder of the Conservative Friends of Korea and a kind friend to the Korean community in New Malden .
